AUIB Schools are based at The American University of Iraq -Baghdad (AUIB) in state-of-the-art buildings providing education for the children of Baghdad and further afield. AUIB Schools’ mission is to provide students with the highest standards of education, that reflects a “hands-on” approach to learning in a safe and creative environment.

AUIB Schools are committed to sustainability and the impact of all activities

on the environment. The schools will be eco-friendly as part of the curriculum the

students will be encouraged to be environmental consciousness. The new buildings

are designed to be eco-friendly in keeping with the overall vision of Model Schools

where students will play an active role in promoting a culture of reducing, reusing, and

recycling. The building design includes the harnessing and use of solar power and the

collection and safe recycling of rainwater.
