Top UAE Architect wins Five - Star accolade at Africa & Arabia Property Awards
XYZ DESIGNERS have won a Five - Star Award within the category Commercial High Rise Architecture for the BSTC High Rise Development at the Africa & Arabia Property Awards 2017-2018, one of the most prestigious industry events in the region.
Presented at The J W Marriott Marquis Dubai on 7th September. Companies received awards for categories ranging across property development, real estate, interior design and architecture categories. Chosen from over 200 entries spread across the Africa & Arabia region, XYZ DESIGNERS have proved themselves to be the very best in the Architecture sector. The Africa & Arabia Awards are part of the International Property Awards that include the regions of Asia Pacific, Europe, The Americas and the UK. The awards celebrate the very best projects and professionals in the industry.
As a top winner in the Africa & Arabia region, XYZ DESIGNERS will automatically be entered in to the overall international awards.
About the winner project
Located in Al Madina Road, next to Bayat plaza, a mixed-use development. It includes a 4-star hotel with 250 rooms and two restaurants one on the first level and one on the 40th level. The offices for
this development are housed between the 15th floor and the 40th floor. The tower resembles an ellipse that rises directly out of the ground with modular fins that project according to the tower orientation. These fins protect the silver glass building from the sun and help save energy as well. This elliptical shape also maximizes the view of the surrounding area.
The simple elliptical glass tower was made from Semi-reflective huge glass panels that reflects the surrounding all day long. It is the reflection that makes the tower merge flawlessly contrasting its surroundings of Al Madina road.
